Healthy Waxing Tips
We are unable to perform hair removal service if you are currently or have used ACCUTANE, RETIN-A or other PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS FOR ACNE within the previous 12 Month period OR have used GLYCOLIC ACID or other CHEMICAL EXFOLIANTS within the last 7 DAYS due to the sensitizing effect they have on the skin.
Do Not shave or tweeze the area at least 14 days
prior to waxing.
Avoid tanning (sun or bed) for at least 24 hours after waxing.
Schedule your wax 2-3 days before a big event or vacation
Skin tends to be more sensitive just before or after
your monthly cycle.
Using a topical analgesic on areas being treated approximately 30 to 45 minutes prior to waxing services reduces discomfort for some clients.
Taking an oral antacid approximately 12 hours prior to service reduces inflammation for some clients.
